A little late

Jeremy and I have been tagged a couple times, so I’ll finally answer Lots of reading today, just a warning…

 

 Four jobs I have had in my life:

1. “Bookseller” aka book-shelver at Chapters

2.  Assistant Project Officer at The Land Conservancy

3. Wire Operator at Custom House head office in Victoria

4. Currently Admin Assistant at Custom House Vancouver Branch
Four movies I would watch over and over again:

1. Sleepless in Seattle
2. The Princess Bride
3. Dirty Dancing
4. Wedding Singer

Four places I have lived:

4. yep that’s it.

Four TV shows I love to watch:

1. Buffy the Vampire Slayer (yes i have all 7 seasons on DVD)

4. Shows like “How dirty is your house?” That show is crazy…i dont feel bad for a couple dust bunnies under my couch anymore.

What were you doing ten years ago?
I was in grade 10 and 15 years old. That was a good year! I had a big group of friends and had a lot of fun. That was the last year at the junior high before moving up to high school. Im sure there was various un-requited crushes and drama, but also good times at various parties…My grandma had bought me my first car, a little grey Toyota Tercel. I loved that car! It got totalled the next year when I hit a deer on the highway going 90kms and slammed into the cement barrier after hitting the poor deer.

 

What were you doing a year ago?

Last February I was living in Victoria alone while Jeremy was over here in Vancouver. I was working afternoon shifts, doing AUD wires for Custom House and being a crazy night owl, working 3-11pm and staying up till 4am and getting up at noon. Having fun with my Custom House friends and spending every second weekend here in Van with J.

 

Five snacks you enjoy:
1. Chocolate anything (see above)

2. Chips and dip/salsa/hummous

3. Cookies

4. Lately Im loving asian pears, mmm.

5. Pretzels

 

Five songs you know all the lyrics too:
1. Anything by Sarah McLachlan

2. Mostly anything by David Gray

3. Mostly anything by Madonna

4. Mostly anything by Natalie Merchant

5. Actually I know all the words to almost all the songs I listen to…

 

Five things you would do if you were a millionaire:

1. Buy Jeremy and I our dream house.

2. Go on lots of vacations and travel, but then come home to our lovely dream house.

3. Give my family some.

4. Save lots for my children and grandchildren’s education.

5. Donate to The Land Conservancy and save more animals and greenspace.

 

Five bad habits:
1. Scratching my psoriasis and making it worse

2. Sucking in air noisily through my mouth when Im doing something that requires concentration, like cutting vegetables, but not knowing that im doing it.

3. Twiddling my thumbs absentminded-ly and not realizing it makes people think they are boring me.

4. Talking through movies/shows and only realizing afterwards it was probably annoying…

5. Having a mind blank, im sure Jeremy could add one for me…

 

Five things you like doing:
1. Dreaming

2. Painting (I really should start that again)

3. Spending time with friends

4. Reading

4. Curling up the couch with Jules on my lap and Jeremy beside me.

 

Five things you would never do, wear, buy, or get again:

1. Slouch socks over the tight jeans…oh geez.

2. Puffed up bangs held with a barrette

3. Cheesecake from IGA, eww that was horrible

4. Go to the clinic on Pender that gave me ear drops for an eye infection

4. Jean jacket with gems and tassles…ack

 

Five favorite toys:

1. Ipod

2. Computer

3. Camera

4. Is a cat a toy? She’s amusing

5. Murray our travelling teddy bear, hes the cutest, although I guess technically he is Jeremy’s.

 

Whew, thats the last of it. Im not gonna tag anyone because I think the few friends I have that have blogs have already done them.
